Are You Secure?

So we’re secure… RIGHT?

Navajo Code Talker Security

That is what is on everyone’s mind these days. With the masses of information being stored in soft copy and transmitted over the web, what is going on in the realm of Information Security?

The August GeekSouth Dinner will be focused on the latest in InfoSec with a presentation given by Erik Rolf, CISA, CISSP. Erik is the president of Deliberare, Inc. “Dependable Dynamic Defense”

Erik will not only discuss InfoSec, but will be giving us a report from the Black Hat Briefings and tell us details of his visit to DefCon 15 in Las Vegas. Come join us for dinner at Johnny Bruscos in Kingsport (same time as always… 7pm) and check out what is going on with Information Security today.

Note: Since there isn’t any wifi at Johnny’s, don’t forget to bring your EVDO/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA data cards if you have them.

When you get there don’t forget to make welcome our host and presenter for the evening:

Erik Rolf, CISA, CISSP

Deliberare, Inc. “Dependable Dynamic Defense”

Ken, you’ve been smoking too much Longbottom Leaf from the Southfarthing. And eating mushrooms, I might guess.
