I was excited to see the level of expertise and enthusiasm for the streaming video industry that was represented there, and I know that some great contributions to the industry are going to come out of our region. I am very much looking forward to more meetings and getting to know the people we met on a more professional and personal level. This was our first GeekSouth meeting and although I was worried that I would have to buy some thick black rimmed glasses to be accepted, I was warmly welcomed without them.
