The geeks are descending out of the mountains again, stepping out of the pale blue light of the monitor, and converging together for an evening of fun, networking (free WiFi), and the latest word in all things technology. If you are reading this you are probably one of us. So come join the conversation and share your ideas.

January 31 2006 at the Pacific Grill in downtown Kingsport, TN at 7pm. Tim Siglin will be sharing some info on the hottest stuff to hit Macworld and I am also in negotiations to have someone from CES to share as well. With free WiFi, excellent food, and great conversations this will be a great opportunity to geek in the New Year!

This is our first foray into the “how do we prepare for 30-50 people to eat food” venue so we are providing a heavy appetizer buffet with great food for only 8 bucks. Drinks and the additional full menu are on your own. Give it a try and we will see how this goes. It is also important to sign up on the writeboard (password: pacific) or on the forum at geeksouth.com, so we can have an accurate estimate of how many geeks are coming.
